System Requirements
You can develop pen applications for version 2.0 of the Pen API with the
following software and hardware:
- A personal computer running Windows 95 or a later version of Windows
- A mouse, tablet, or other pointing device supported by the Pen API
- Microsoft Win32® Software Development Kit (SDK)
- Microsoft Windows 95 Device Driver Kit (DDK)
necessary only if you will be building pen, display, or keyboard drivers
- Microsoft C Optimizing Compiler, version 5.1 or later, or Microsoft QuickC® for Windows version 1.0 or later
- Microsoft Macro Assembler version 5.1 or later
necessary only if you will be building pen, display, or keyboard drivers
You may also use equivalent development software produced by other
manufacturers, such as Borland International, Inc.
