Compression Functions
Following are the three compression functions provided by the Pen API.
Function
| Description
| CompactPenData
| Provided only for compatibility with version 1.0 of the Pen API and may not be
supported in future versions. Use the functions CompressPenData and TrimPenData instead.
| CompressPenData
| Primary function used to compress and uncompress pen data.
| TrimPenData
| Removes selected data from an HPENDATA object to reduce the size of the memory block. For example, TrimPenData can remove OEM information, timing indexes, pen-up points, and so forth.
